FAQs

  • The perinatal period refers to pregnancy (antenatal), during birth, and up to one year after birth (postpartum).

  • While we focus on supporting women who are in the perinatal period, we also love supporting women outside of this with a range of concerns.

  • We are here to support both women experiencing perinatal mental health concerns and their support network. Please do get in touch with us.

  • You can book an appointment by clicking the ‘book now’ button at the top of this page. You can also email us at info@yourgoldenhour.au.

  • You do not need a referral to see a psychologist. However, you do need a referral and valid care plan if you wish to claim medicare rebates for your sessions.

  • Your Golden Hour does not provide bulk billing. However, our rates are set lower than the Australian Psychological Society suggested rate of $311 per 46-60 minute consultation.

  • We currently offer online sessions only via zoom. We hope to be able to also offer in person sessions soon - watch this space!

  • We understand that circumstances change and that you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment with us. We ask that you provide at least 24 business day hours notice in order to avoid a cancellation fee. This also allows us enough time to offer your space to another client who may need support.
